Pulis confirms Baggies bid for Man United outcast

West Brom’s head coach Tony Pulis has confirmed the club have made an offer for out-of-favour Man United midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin.
The French international has not featured at all for the Red Devils since mid-November and it is believed that the Baggies have placed a bid in the region of £18million for the ex-Saints midfielder.
“I don’t want to say anymore other than confirm our bid. We have to be fair to Manchester United and the player,” said a cautious Pulis in his press conference ahead of the trip to Arsenal on Boxing Day.
West Brom are facing strong competition from Everton to land the 27-year-old, with former Southampton boss reportedly keen to link up with the midfielder once again.
