Why Every Woman is a Goddess

The traditional definition of a goddess is a female deity with supernatural powers. The female image is associated with abundance, productivity, and growth. From ancient mythology, the earth is said to be female and before creation takes place, the heavens must meet the earth. In Greek mythology, creation would seem to have begun through Gaea, the earth goddess.
In the scripture, the Old Testament’s creation myth, it is said that God created man using the earth, and after that, he saw man would not be complete without a female. Thus, he made a female to be at man’s side. It will interest you to know that the intended helping-hand idea with which a woman was created by God was not to help man in bed neither was it to help him in the kitchen. It was to make man complete; to help him achieve more. Research will tell us that there are more independent women in the world than there are men; more women who are stay and succeed alone than men. What this means is that women are more likely to be successful alone than men. As the old saying goes, there’s always a woman behind every successful man. But the tragedy with this fact is that the world does not seem to realize this. Society has, from the beginning, defined the feminine gender as incapable of so many things, and the feminine gender has accepted this corrupt idea without a fight. If you think this is not true, ask a few independent women who have reached the pinnacle of success. I bet you will learn they became successful with little or no help from men.
Be reminded of the traditional definition of a goddess, regardless that the male counterpart can also be defined in the same line. A deity stands as a support to man, and from which one can consult. Ancient Indian mythology ascribed the feminine image to a tree. A woman grows up to produce fruits as does a tree. The term deflowered, which is related with a woman’s loss of virginity is a result of the beauty, growth, and budding that are all interconnected between a female and a flower. No man ever ends up a failure when a true woman is beside him. By ‘true’ I mean a woman who loves him genuinely. The idea of treating a woman with care and respect is not borne out of passion or the notion that they are weak. The idea is borne out of the fact that you get the best out of them when you don’t maltreat them. That’s why a sad and broken woman can do more harm than a ruthless man.
More so, the presence of a woman around a man spurs him. It will serve well to note that in both Greek and Hindis mythology, the deities of love and prosperity are goddesses, Aphrodite and Lakshmi respectively. Fortuna Copia is also Greek’s goddess of fortune and wealth. People are not always consciously aware of the unexplainable strength in a man when a woman is around him. Men are more moved and inspired to do more and more when a woman is involved, and when the case is that of love, the strength and inspiration becomes an unquenchable flame from the inside. This is not always the nature of man; rather it is the ‘helping’ supernatural goddess of the woman that gives him strength. Without love, everything else is meaningless. However strong a man wishes to be, his soul is often not at peace without a woman’s genuine love. Life for him is incomplete.
Furthermore, motherhood is another aspect of this. In Igbo tradition, the name ‘Nneka’ which means ‘mother is greater’ did not just come to be. Ancient men of Igbo society may have had another explanation for this name without realizing the myth behind it. It can be proved that a child always feels more comfortable around its mother, even if the father is heavily built. It will also interest you to know that half a man’s success is sourced from his mother’s love and prayers in addition to his wife’s or any other woman that cares about him.
About sex, ancient tradition considers it to be sacred. Sometimes, the kind of woman a man has sex with either makes or mars him. The act of mating with a female is divine, through which life is brought into the world. Sex is not just about the pleasure and fun. It is more about having contact with divinity; it is an act of worship and with it, the female gains the male’s power. In most cases, a man is advised against random sex because he might end up mating with a goddess capable of ruining him.
However, the problem with these ideas is that most people are not aware of them.
