Tania reports on how to prevent sweat stains

We understand that the sweat stains on your clothing is not only unattractive but also embarrassing. So instead of battling with the stains in your laundry, you may just want to prevent the stains altogether.Make sure that you use an antiperspirant and just not a deodorant. While a deodorant will only help to eliminate the smell from your underarms, antiperspirants prevent sweat by blocking the sweat ducts. Use an antiperspirant twice daily.
If you already use an antiperspirant and still not seeing results, you may consider changing your antiperspirant. The chemicals like aluminium in your product can react with the sweat, causing the underarm yellowing that you so dread. If changing your product does not help, you may probably have a lot of bacteria in your sweat. To tackle this, wash your underarms twice daily and also use an antibacterial soap to clean the area. If your problem still persists, contact your dermatologist and ask her for a topical antibacterial treatment to curb your sweat.
Remember to dry yourself well with a towel after a bath and wear clean clothes. Change your top or shirt twice a day if possible and never wear clothes without washing them. Also, ensure to keep your armpit hair trimmed.
